Digikart is a French company, founded in Rennes by Néo Lebouteiller. It does one thing, and does it well: putting local businesses' loyalty cards into their customers' phones, in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with no app to install.
It all starts with something observed in the shops of Rennes: loyalty for small businesses is stuck between two bad options. On one side the paper card, likeable but always lost and never measured. On the other, loyalty software built for chains: high subscriptions, SMS billed one by one, 12-month commitments, pricing on request. In between, nothing for the bakery, the café or the hair salon that simply want to reward their regulars.
Digikart was born to fill that gap, with one technical conviction: the ideal loyalty card is already in customers' pockets. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet come preinstalled on every phone; it was just a matter of using them. One QR scan at the counter, and the card is installed, for life, impossible to lose.
Make customer loyalty accessible to every local business. Concretely: a free basic card, with no cap on customers, no commitment and no hardware, that a merchant sets up alone in 15 minutes. Digikart is the only French solution offering a genuinely free Wallet loyalty card.
In a few years, handing over a paper card will look as dated as paying by cheque. Digikart wants to make the Wallet card the standard for loyalty in French shops: every café, every bakery, every salon should be able to give its customers the same quality of experience as the big chains, without their budget.
The card is free, no card details, ready in 15 minutes.
