An independent shop in Ireland can run the same loyalty programme as the chains, without the chain budget. Digikart puts your card straight into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet: your customer scans the QR code on your counter once, and the card sits in their phone beside their bank cards. Prices are in euros, the free plan has no cap on customers, and no new hardware is needed at the till.
Included in the Free plan Everything on this page starts on the Free plan, with unlimited customers and no bank card. Digikart Plus (€17 a month) buys the look of the card, and Digikart Pro (€49 a month, €39 until 31 December 2026 under the launch offer) adds notifications, automations, analytics and unlimited locations. Billing is in euros, the currency of your till in Ireland, with VAT shown on your invoice according to your VAT status.
Digikart is billed in euros, so there is nothing to convert on your invoice: Free at €0, Plus at €17 a month, Pro at €49 a month and €39 until 31 December 2026 under the launch offer, with VAT shown on your invoice according to your VAT status. No cost per customer, no cost per notification. Square Loyalty's Irish page lists €39 + VAT per month per location up to 500 loyalty visits, then €65, then €90 (checked 16 September 2026); in its favour, it enrols customers straight from the Square checkout, which counts for something if your tills are already Square.
The card lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Your customer scans your counter QR code with their camera, the card is added, and that is the whole sign-up: no app, no password, no plastic card to lose. If their phone does not handle wallets, a web card takes over.
The Free plan costs nothing, asks for no bank card and has no end date. It carries your business name and your colours, stamps or points based on the amount spent, one reward, the scanner, the dashboard and the counter poster to print.
A phone at the counter is enough and your till can stay exactly as it is. The day you open a second place, the Pro plan covers as many locations as you have at no extra charge per shop, with a single customer card whose stamps add up from one address to the next.
You sign up free on digikart.app, in English, and set your card while the account is created: stamps or points on the amount spent, the reward, your colours and your business name. You then print the counter poster carrying your QR code and leave it beside the till. Your customer scans it once with their camera and the card lands in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. On every visit after that, you scan their QR code from the Digikart app on iPhone or from your browser, and the balance updates on the phone they already carry.
Yes. The site, the merchant dashboard and the card are in English, the subscription is billed in euros, and Apple Wallet and Google Wallet behave on an Irish phone exactly as they do anywhere else. Nothing to import, and no currency conversion on your invoice.
Digikart Free costs nothing, with no end date and no cap on customers. Digikart Plus costs €17 a month, or €170 a year with two months free. Digikart Pro costs €49 a month, or €490 a year, and until 31 December 2026 the launch offer puts Pro at €39 a month or €390 for the first year. Plus comes with a 3 day trial, Pro with 14 days. VAT appears on your invoice according to your VAT status, and there is no cost per customer, per card or per notification.
Square's Irish page lists €39 + VAT per month per location for up to 500 loyalty visits, then €65 and then €90 as visits rise (checked 16 September 2026). Square wins if your tills are already Square: the programme sits inside the checkout your staff use all day, the customer signs up at the point of sale and the reward comes off the next sale without a second screen. Digikart works with any till, starts free and adds no charge per location on the Pro plan, which can also connect to your till: the connection is included in the subscription and only the setup is billed, €149 once, and only if you ask for it.
Yes. Tappit is based in Ireland and aims at the same trades: cafes, barbers, nail studios, beauty salons, restaurants and takeaways. Its home page states that customers download nothing, and it does not mention Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (tappit.ie, checked 16 September 2026). With Digikart the card is a real Wallet pass, so it sits with the customer's bank cards and updates by itself after each visit.
Digikart requires no customer data: a card can be created with no name, no email and no phone number. What data does exist is hosted in France, inside the EU, and processed in line with the GDPR, which applies in Ireland as in the rest of the Union. On the Pro plan, a CSV export hands you your data back whenever you want it.
