DIGIKART

Digikart or StampClub: the honest comparison

StampClub leads with its price, and it is genuinely low: £9.49 a month to start. It is also a launch offer. That rate covers the first six months, then the Basic plan moves to £18.99 a month per location. Before you compare the two tools, two things are worth opening on their own site: what the customer card actually is, and how many venues your subscription covers. Every figure and quotation below was recorded on stampclub.app on 16 September 2026, so check them again before you decide.

Our honest reading

The launch price is announced as one, to their credit, but it changes the sums. Basic is £9.49 a month for six months, then £18.99 a month per location. On their own published figures a single venue pays £170.88 over the first year and £227.88 every year after that. Growth is £19.99 for six months, then £39.99. Digikart starts at nothing: the free plan has no end date, no cap on customers and asks for no bank card. Plus is €17 a month including VAT, roughly £15, and Pro is €49 including VAT, roughly £42, at the European Central Bank reference rate of 0.8558 on 15 September 2026. The sterling figures move with the exchange rate and the invoice is issued in euros.

The words per location matter more than the discount. Basic covers one venue, so a second shop means a second subscription, £37.98 a month once the standard rate applies, unless you move up to Growth at £39.99 for up to three sites. Past three, StampClub sends you to Pro / Enterprise and a quote. Digikart Pro includes unlimited points of sale for the same €49 including VAT, whether you run one counter or six. If you have one site and no plan to open another, this line costs you nothing. If you already run two or three, do the arithmetic before you sign.

The second thing to check is what your customer ends up holding. StampClub is web based. Their UK page answers the question plainly: customers scan your QR code with their phone camera and the loyalty card opens in their browser. Their home page also offers Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, in their own words as one more place to keep it, and says the wallet card shows the stamps and how close the next reward is, always up to date. They call it completely optional. So the capability exists on both sides, and the difference is the default: with StampClub the browser page is the card and the Wallet pass is the extra, with Digikart the Wallet pass is the card and there is no browser version. The Digikart pass sits between the customer's bank cards and boarding passes, the stamp count updates on its own after every scan, and nobody has to find a bookmark again three weeks later. Neither tool asks your customer to install anything.

Nothing on StampClub's pricing table, home page, UK page or Ireland page mentions push notifications. Marketing automation appears on Pro / Enterprise alone, which is priced case by case. If bringing customers back is the reason you want a loyalty programme at all, that is the gap to weigh. Digikart Pro covers unlimited notifications with no SMS billed and no cost per message, flash promotions, a birthday reward, a reminder for customers who have stopped coming, a proximity notification and Google review collection. StampClub is ahead on several points that deserve naming. Staff accounts with role permissions and CSV export of your customer list are included on its cheapest plan, while Digikart keeps employee accounts and exports for Pro. Its Basic plan carries one loyalty card with unlimited rewards on it, and its comparison table marks stamp cards and rewards unlimited on all three plans, where Digikart allows one reward on the free plan and up to three tiers in a cycle on Plus. Core analytics and approval history sit on its cheapest plan too. And its trial runs 30 days against 3 days on Digikart Plus and 14 on Pro, although the Digikart free plan needs no trial at all.

StampClub is the better choice in a clear case. You run one venue in the UK, you want a sterling invoice from a supplier that advertises UK data storage and UK based support, you want staff logins on the cheapest plan, and notifications are not part of your plan. A 30 day trial with no card asked is generous, and £9.49 for six months makes trying it cheap. Digikart suits you better if you want to run a loyalty programme without paying anything, if the card belongs in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet rather than in a browser tab, or if you have several sites and would rather the bill did not grow with each one. Three details to raise with them either way: their pricing page does not say whether the prices include VAT, their UK page shows from £8.99 in one place and from £9.49 in another, and their Ireland page advertises from €7.99 a month while the pricing page lists pounds only.

Frequently asked questions

Is StampClub cheaper than Digikart?

For the first six months, StampClub Basic at £9.49 a month is a low price. StampClub has no free plan, only a 30 day trial, whereas the Digikart free plan is £0 with unlimited customers and no end date. Against the paid plans, StampClub Basic at its standard £18.99 a month per location sits above Digikart Plus, which is €17 including VAT or roughly £15, and below Digikart Pro at €49, roughly £42 at the European Central Bank reference rate of 15 September 2026. Digikart bills in euros.

Does StampClub put the loyalty card in Apple Wallet?

Yes, it can. Their home page offers Apple Wallet and Google Wallet as, in their own words, one more place to keep it, and says the wallet card shows the stamps and how close the next reward is, always up to date. It is not the default: their UK page says the card opens in the customer's browser after a QR scan, and they describe the Wallet version as completely optional. With Digikart the Wallet pass is the card itself, with no browser version behind it. Wording checked on stampclub.app on 16 September 2026.

I run two coffee shops. What does each one cost?

StampClub Basic is billed per location, so two shops means two subscriptions, £18.99 each a month at the standard rate, or the Growth plan at £39.99 a month for up to three sites. Beyond three you are quoted individually. Digikart Pro covers unlimited points of sale for €49 including VAT in total, so the second shop adds nothing to the bill.

Can I send offers to my customers with either tool?

Digikart Pro sends unlimited push notifications to the Wallet card, with no SMS charged and no cost per message, and adds flash promotions, a birthday reward and a reminder for customers who have stopped coming. On StampClub's public pages no notification feature is listed on Basic or Growth, and marketing automation appears only on the Pro / Enterprise plan, which is priced on request.

Do my customers have to download an app?

No, with either tool. StampClub opens the card in the phone browser after a QR scan, and their home page says customers who prefer it can also add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Digikart puts the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from the start, with no browser version. The practical difference is the default: a browser page has to be found again a month later, a Wallet pass stays in the wallet and shows the current stamp count.
