Digikart or Passcard: the honest comparison

Passcard and Digikart make the same basic promise: a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with no app for the customer to install. The difference plays out in what happens as your customer list grows. Pricing recorded on passcard.fr on 15 August 2026, to be checked on their site before any decision.

Our honest reading

Passcard is a coherent choice if you want to test without paying anything and your programme will stay small: thirty customers is enough to validate the idea over a few weeks. Their Essentiel plan at €35 a month is also cheaper than our Pro plan on the sticker, and if you need neither POS connection nor unlimited notifications, the question deserves to be asked honestly.

The difference shows up with success. At Passcard, going past the included threshold triggers billing per additional customer: €0.03 per customer beyond 500, €0.02 beyond 2,500. A business signing up 1,500 customers therefore pays its subscription plus the overage, and its bill rises as its programme works. At Digikart, the number of customers enters no calculation: the free plan is already unlimited, and so is the Pro plan.

The second gap is the free plan. Thirty customers is a test. A local business often reaches that in two weeks, and then faces a choice: pay or stop. Our free plan has no cap because we would rather you move to the Pro plan the day you need notifications or the till, not the day you have too many customers.

Frequently asked questions

Is Passcard cheaper than Digikart?

On the sticker yes, €35 against €49 incl. VAT. But Passcard's price varies with your number of customers (€0.03 per customer beyond 500), whereas ours never moves. At 1,000 customers the gap narrows sharply, and our Pro plan additionally includes POS connection and unlimited notifications. If you stay under 500 customers and need neither of those two things, Passcard Essentiel is indeed cheaper, and we say so.

Is Digikart's free plan really unlimited in customers?

Yes. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet card, one reward tier, visit scanning, counter poster and dashboard, with no cap on customers and no time limit. What is reserved for the Pro plan is notifications, POS connection, automations, advanced statistics and employee accounts.

Can I change my mind and leave with my data?

Yes. Your customers and your visits export as CSV from your area, and the Pro plan can be cancelled whenever you want, with no commitment. A cancelled account falls back to the free plan; it is never locked.
