Hey Pongo, which now goes by “Pongo”, is not a direct competitor. It is a marketing platform for restaurants: loyalty, CRM, SMS campaigns, Google reviews, local SEO, all on a single screen. Digikart does one of these, the loyalty card, plus Google review collection on the Pro plan, and does it for a neighbourhood business. First difference, visible before you even open the product: there is no pricing page. As of 16 September 2026, the address heypongo.com/tarifs redirects to their demo request form, and the word “tarif” (French for pricing) appears nowhere in the site's navigation. This is not a criticism, it is a sales model: when you equip networks of several dozen restaurants, the price is built case by case. But for a lone shop owner who just wants to know how much it costs, it means a thirty-minute meeting before the first answer. Information recorded on heypongo.com on 16 September 2026, to be checked with them before any decision.
| Criterion | Hey Pongo | Digikart |
|---|---|---|
| Price shown on the site | None as of 16 September 2026: there is no pricing page, the /tarifs address redirects to a form titled “Request a demo” | Shown clearly on the pricing page: €0, €17 per month, €49 per month |
| To find out the price | Leave your phone number, your email, your number of locations and your type of business, then thirty minutes on a video call | Read the pricing page, with no form and no meeting |
| Free plan | None announced on their site | Yes, unlimited customers, with no time limit, under your name and in your colours |
| Trial before paying | Not stated: neither a free plan nor a trial period is announced. Their “no commitment” refers to the demo in their FAQ, and to the support on their home page and their loyalty page | The free plan does not expire, then 3 days free on the Plus plan and 14 on Pro |
| To get started | Sales demo, then assisted set-up, programme announced as online within 48 hours | Online sign-up, no bank card, no meeting |
| Target businesses | Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, vape and CBD shops, from independents to franchises; their form goes up to “21+” locations | Any local business that brings its customers back, from one shop to several |

| SMS and email | Yes, at the heart of the offer: automated SMS, email and push campaigns | Not offered. Notifications go through the Wallet card, 3 a month on the Plus plan, unlimited on the Pro plan, with no billed SMS |
| Google reviews | Yes, automatic requests, centralised replies and rating tracking | Google review collection included in the Pro plan |
| Local SEO and Google listings | Yes, presence announced on more than 30 platforms | Not offered, it is not our trade |

| Commitment and set-up fees | “No commitment” announced on their home page and their loyalty page, but no figures published: the online terms are those of the customer-side programme and set neither a subscription period nor installation fees | No commitment, no set-up fees apart from the till installation above, cancel online at any time |
Let's start with the price, since it is the first reflex. As of 16 September 2026, the address heypongo.com/tarifs redirects to a demo form, and no link to prices exists in the menu or the footer. The question “is the demo free and with no commitment?” appears in their FAQ, and the answer does indeed concern the demo, not the subscription. The only public page where we found an amount is an old campaign page, lp.heypongo.com/fidelite, which announces “From €1 excl. VAT / day” and “For €490 excl. VAT / year”, i.e. about €588 incl. VAT with VAT at 20%. This page talks about “transforming your business in 2024” and about 2,000 merchants, while their main site claims more than 4,000: it is clearly outdated, and that figure is therefore only an order of magnitude. The same page adds a criterion worth raising before any meeting, even if it too is dated: a solution presented as suited to businesses with at least €200,000 in annual turnover. To be confirmed with them.
A price that is not displayed is not a high price, and the two should not be confused. It is a sales choice that holds up when you equip networks: the price for a group of sixty restaurants with kiosks, card terminals and a connected till does not fit in a three-column grid. It simply has a cost for the busy shop owner: there is no way to compare two offers on a Sunday evening without giving your number. We went the other way, because our three plans are the same for everyone, from the hair salon to the neighbourhood bakery. When the answer is the same for everyone, there is no reason to make people wait for it.
Now, let's say where Pongo is the best choice, because that case exists and it is not rare. If you run several restaurants, if your till, your self-order kiosk and your card terminal have to feed the same customer database, if you want to send SMS, push your Google listings up, manage your online reputation and have a contact person who sets everything up with you, book their demo. Digikart does none of that, and does not plan to. We do not send SMS, we do not work on your search ranking, we do not offer an app with your brand or a tablet at the counter. A franchise network comparing Pongo and Digikart is not comparing two tools, it is comparing a marketing platform and a loyalty card.
Digikart makes sense in the opposite situation, which is that of most businesses: one or a few shops, nobody to handle marketing, and a stamp card that gets lost. You create your programme online today, for free, with no bank card and without talking to a salesperson. Your customers add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, you scan their QR code at the counter, and within a few weeks you see whether loyalty works for you. If it works and you want unlimited notifications, the birthday reward, the win-back of inactive customers and the POS connection, it is €49 per month, with no commitment. If it does not work, you will have paid nothing and signed nothing.
Their website does not say. As of 16 September 2026, the address heypongo.com/tarifs redirects to a demo request form and the menu has no link to prices. The only amount we found is on an old campaign page, lp.heypongo.com/fidelite, which announces “From €1 excl. VAT / day” and “For €490 excl. VAT / year”, i.e. about €588 incl. VAT with VAT at 20%. That page mentions the year 2024 and a customer count lower than the one displayed today, so it probably no longer reflects their current price list. For an up-to-date figure, you have to go through their demo.
When loyalty is only part of the need. Several locations, a till, a kiosk and a card terminal to connect, SMS campaigns to send, Google listings to keep up to date across several platforms, an app with your brand, and someone to set everything up with you: that is their territory, not ours. A restaurant chain that wants a single tool for all its local marketing is right to call them.
Because they are the same for everyone: €0, €17 per month for the Plus plan, €49 per month for the Pro plan, with no cost per customer or per notification. The only one-off sum is the installation of the POS connection, €149, and only if you ask for it. There is nothing to negotiate, so nothing to hide. A shop owner should be able to decide in two minutes, in the evening, between two services, without leaving their number with anyone.
Loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, unlimited customers, no bank card, ready in 15 minutes.
