DIGIKART

Digikart or FidWallet: the honest comparison

If you have been looking for a loyalty card for a few months, you have come across FidWallet. They publish a lot: a blog, a glossary, pages by trade, a catalogue of 54 POS software packages. The technology is the same as ours, the card lives in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet and the customer installs nothing. What separates the two tools comes down to three points: what you pay, what you get without paying, and what connects to your till. A warning before the figures, because it skews any comparison: FidWallet shows its prices excluding VAT, as their terms of sale specify, while we show ours with all taxes included. The amounts below are therefore converted to prices including VAT, with the price excluding VAT given in brackets. Prices and terms recorded on fidwallet.fr on 16 September 2026, to be checked with them before any decision.

Our honest reading

Let's start with the point where FidWallet beats us, because it concerns many shop owners. Their Essentielle offer, at €34.80 incl. VAT per month, includes unlimited push notifications. With us, they are only unlimited on the Pro plan, at €49: our Plus plan sends 3 a month. If your need comes down to a neat card and the ability to notify your customers as often as you like, you pay €14.20 less per month with them, and we would rather write it here than let you find out afterwards. Our Plus plan, at €17, is cheaper than their entry offer, but it does not do the same thing: it dresses up the card and stops at 3 notifications a month. The comparison only flips on the full offers, where their Pro at €58.80 incl. VAT goes above ours at €49.

The fundamental difference is not there. It lies in what you can do without paying, and in what happens when your programme works. At FidWallet, you have to get your bank card out at sign-up and decide within thirty days, even if nothing is charged before the deadline and cancellation takes one click. With us, the free plan has no customer cap, no end date and no bank card, and the card already carries your name and your colours. A second point to look at if you have several addresses: their terms provide for one subscription per location, with a sliding scale from the third one whose amount is not published. At the displayed price, two shops on Essentielle come to €69.60 incl. VAT per month, but their terms of sale provide for a “Croissance” plan on quote for multiple locations, whose price is not published: ask for it before taking our word for it. Our Pro plan counts locations with no limit and no extra charge, so €49, whether you have one or six.

Now, the cases where FidWallet is the one to choose, and they are real. If your points need to be credited automatically at checkout, their catalogue of integrations is much larger than ours, which is limited to a Popina connector and an open API: SumUp, Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Yavin or Stripe Terminal are marked “Available” there, and their pricing page announces Uber Eats orders credited automatically, which we do not do, even if their integrations page lists Uber Eats as “On request”. Their integrations are included in the Pro offer with no installation fee, whereas we charge €149 once to connect the till for you: on this item too, the advantage is theirs. If you sell digital gift cards, we do not offer them, they include them in their Pro offer. If you are set on SMS or RCS, because some of your customers do not look at their lock screen, they are also the ones to go to: we chose the Wallet notification alone, with no cost per send, and that choice does not suit everyone. Finally, if the idea of setting everything up on your own puts you off, they offer a twenty-minute video call, with a card prepared before the call and handed over live, whereas we work on a self-service basis.

One last word on the figures on this page. We went through their site one criterion at a time, and on four points the pages did not say the same thing on 16 September 2026: the annual discount (20% on the pricing page, 10% in the terms of sale), the price of an RCS message, the cost of creating the agent (€99, “from €199”, or free depending on the page), and RCS itself, which the terms of sale place in the Pro offer while the pricing page says it is not included in the subscription. We have reported them as they are in the table rather than decide for them, and that is worth a question before signing. For the rest, the check that matters happens at your counter: our free plan runs with no time limit, their trial lasts thirty days, and nothing stops you from running both in parallel and seeing which one your customers actually use.

Frequently asked questions

Is FidWallet cheaper than Digikart?

It depends on the offer being compared. Their entry offer, Essentielle, costs €34.80 incl. VAT per month (€29 excl. VAT): that is more than double our Plus plan at €17, and €14.20 less than our Pro plan at €49. Since unlimited push notifications make the difference, and with us they are only unlimited on Pro (our Plus plan sends 3 a month), a shop owner who simply wants a card and notifications with no limit pays less with them. On the full offers, the gap flips: their Pro costs €58.80 incl. VAT (€49 excl. VAT), more than ours. And if you want to try before paying, our free plan has no equivalent with them.

When is FidWallet the best choice?

Four cases, and we are upfront about them. If you want points to be credited automatically at the till or on your online shop, their catalogue of integrations is broader than ours. If you sell digital gift cards, we do not offer them. If you plan to send SMS or RCS messages, we do not send those either, by choice. And if you would rather have someone set up the card with you on a video call than do it on your own, their support meets that need.

I have two shops: how much does it cost with each?

At FidWallet, each location has its own subscription and the volume discount only starts from the third shop: at the listed price, two locations on Essentielle come to €69.60 incl. VAT per month (€58 excl. VAT), and €117.60 incl. VAT on Pro. Their terms of sale also mention a “Croissance” plan on quote for multi-location businesses, with no published amount: ask for that quote before comparing. At Digikart, the Pro plan at €49 includes unlimited locations, so the price does not change between one and six shops.
