Snapss and Digikart promise the customer the same thing: a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, nothing to install. The comparison gets complicated as soon as money comes up, because Snapss publishes several price lists depending on the page you land on. On their Pricing page, the lowest price is €49 per month billed annually. On another page of their site, a Start plan appears at €29. And on their sign-up page, a “Snapss Free” is announced as “free for life, no bank card”, without any page saying what this plan contains. We looked, and we did not find it. Pricing and wording recorded on snapss.io on 16 September 2026, to be checked on their site before any decision.

Let's start with what brings most shop owners to this page: the free plan. At Snapss, a free account does exist. Their sign-up page talks about “free for life” and does not ask for a bank card. But this plan appears neither on their Pricing page nor in their feature comparison table, and no page on their site says how many customers it allows, whether it lets you send notifications, or whether the card carries your logo. You will only find out once the account is created. At Digikart, the Free plan is detailed before sign-up: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet card, unlimited customers, your colours and the name of your business, stamps or points based on the amount spent, one reward, the scanner, the dashboard and the counter poster.
The second gap is the meter. Snapss's paid plans are sold in blocks of new cards: 115 per month on Plus, 235 on Enterprise, 1,500 on Ultimate. Beyond that, you have to buy packs, billed at €0.75 per card under fifty cards and €0.55 from two thousand. Notifications follow the same principle, a monthly quota then packs. In practice, a bakery that signs up one hundred and fifty customers in December goes over its Plus plan and pays for the overage, at the very moment its programme starts to work. With us there are no blocks: the number of customers is not part of any calculation, on the free plan as on Pro. Notifications, for their part, are not in the free plan: the Plus plan sends 3 a month, to all your customers however many they are, and with Pro at €49 they are unlimited, with no cost per send.
Now, the case where Snapss is the best choice, because it exists. Snapss does not just sell a Wallet card: their offer includes a web loyalty app under your brand, gamification with a leaderboard and levels, a product catalogue, a prize wheel, a Shopify connection and e-commerce statistics. If you sell online as much as in store, if you have a brand to bring to life and someone on the team to take care of it, this toolkit has no equivalent with us and we will not pretend otherwise. Digikart does not connect to Shopify, and offers neither games nor a product catalogue. We make the loyalty card for the counter, and we stick to that.
That leaves the way you get started. At Snapss, the site's main path goes through booking a demo, and their FAQ announces an installation in twenty-four to forty-eight hours. That makes sense when you sell a complete platform to a chain with a marketing budget. At Digikart, you create your account, you choose your reward, you print the counter poster, and the card is ready the same day without talking to anyone. For a neighbourhood business that first wants to know whether its customers will play along, this difference weighs more than the length of the feature list.
We cannot honestly say, and that is exactly the problem. Snapss announces a free-for-life account with no bank card on its sign-up page, but its site publishes neither the number of customers allowed, nor the features included, nor the duration. Our Free plan is detailed before sign-up: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet card, unlimited customers, your colours, one reward, scanner, dashboard and counter poster, with no end date. To settle it, open both accounts, it costs nothing on either side.
When your loyalty programme has to go beyond the counter. Snapss offers a web loyalty app under your brand, gamification, a product catalogue, a Shopify connection and e-commerce statistics, all things we do not do. A clothing brand that sells online and in store, with someone to run the programme, will find tools there that Digikart does not have. If what you need is the stamp card for your counter, the price gap is not justified.
At Digikart, nothing, your bill does not change: there is no card quota and no cost per customer, on the free plan as on Pro. At Snapss, each plan includes a number of new cards per month, 115 on the Plus plan, and beyond that you have to buy packs billed between €0.55 and €0.75 per card depending on volume. A business that signs up 200 customers in the month goes 85 cards over: two packs to buy, i.e. €75 on top of the €49 subscription.
